Abstract:
PURPOSE: To aim at reduction in power consumption, by installing a deoxygenater separating oxygen from pressurized air, and also an oxygen storage unit storing the separated oxygen.
CONSTITUTION: The air pressurized by a compressor 1 is fed to a deoxygenater 5. After the separated oxygen is compressed by a compressor 8, it is fed to a storage tank 12 and stored therein. There provided with an expansion turbine 15, a high-pressure gas turbine 17 and a low-pressure gas turbine 19 to be driven by compressed oxygen. Since only the separated oxygen is compressed and stored, power consumption in the compressor is reducible.
