PURPOSE: To sufficiently perform deodorization by decomposing ozone into active oxygen and oxygen by a catalyst and reacting active oxygen with an offensive odor component and heating the catalyst by a heater therefor in the case of mixing this offensive odor with ozone to deodore the offensive odor.
CONSTITUTION: When a person is seated on the seat 2 of a closet fitted with an ozone deodorizer, a seating sensor S1 provided to the rear part of the seat 2 sends a detection output to a controlling part D. A suction fan F is driven by the driving output sent form this controlling part D and also high voltage is generated in a high voltage generator 19, and an ozonizer 17 is impressed with high voltage. Ozone is generated in an ozone treatment flow path R. Thereby, an offensive odor generated in the space of the inside of the closet main body is sucked into the flow path R and effectively mixed with ozone in the flow path R and deodorizing treatment is performed. Furthermore, when a catalyst is warmed by a heater 32 for heating it, deodorization effect of the catalyst S is enhanced. Deodorization is sufficiently performed and also the residual ozone in exhaust is decomposed by the catalyst S and thereby the concn. of ozone is lowered.
