A stroke device 25 reciprocating in the region which does not hinder the up-and-down movement of a vacuum cup 17 existing in the region having an end stopper 13 disposed is arranged at an inclined incident angle toward the direction in which the packaging bags 20 are transported, and a push rod 34 reciprocating in linkage with the stroke device 25 positively urges the packaging bags toward the end stopper 13. The stroke device 25 and the push rod 34 are linked through the medium of a resilient flexible material 35 so that the push rod 34 loads its weight onto the packaging bags 20, which are urged by the friction corresponding to the weight load. When the resistance of the end stopper 25 to the packaging bags 20 exceeds the value of the weight load, the push rod 34 slips on the packaging bags 20, while not thrusting the packaging bags 20 further with force greater than required, thus preventing the packaging bags 20 from being bent.
