To provide a packaging film which is used in the form of a single- layer or multilayer film, is finally laminated with a base material such as a nylon, polyester or polypropylene film, and is used chiefly in the form of bags excellent in heat sealing strength, low-temperature heat sealability, flexibility, impact resistance, pinhole resistance, blocking resistance, slipperiness and openability.

This film is made from a composition comprising a linear low- density polyethylene having a density of 0.900-0.925g/cm3, 0.02-0.15wt.% at least one member selected from the group consisting of higher fatty acids, higher fatty acid amides and metal salts of higher fatty acids, and 0.05-1.00wt.% silicone resin by the air-cooled inflation method. It is laminated with a base material to form a multilayer structure in which it constitutes at least the surface which is to come into contact with the contents.
