Abstract:

To provide a polypropylene resin composition improved in impact resistance at ordinary and low temperatures without detriment to rigidity such as bending modulus and surface hardness, namely having more excellent well- balanced mechanical properties.

This composition comprises 50-97wt.% polypropylene resin (A), 0.1-50wt.% ethylene/propylene copolymer rubber (B), and 0.1-50wt.% ethylene polymer (C). Component B is used in an amount of 20-95wt.% based on the total weight of components B and C and has an ethylene content of 20-95wt.% and a heat of crystallization of 20-35J/g. Component C has a durometer hardness (type A) of 65 or above as measured according to JIS K7215 and an ethylene content of 60wt.% or above.
