Title:
PACKAGING MACHINE FOR PRODUCTION OF CIGARETTE PACKS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3481690
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To further increase throughput without modifications on individual members of a packaging machine by a method, wherein a common cigarette magazine is assigned a plurality of packaging units, each of which includes a complete combination of folding members and a material assembly.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of groups of cigarettes are transferred, in a section of a cigarette magazine 10 into a common conveyer, particularly to a pocket chain 16, and transferred in section of each push-in station 18, from the pocket chain 16 to packaging units 11 to 14. Each of the packaging units 11 to 14 is divided into a plurality of folding units 24, material units 25 and drive units 26, which are handled independently. Therefore, the packaging units 11 to 14 produce cigarette packs 15 independently of each another, and the packs are transferred via a discharge conveyer 19 which works exclusively for each of the packaging units 11 to 14. Thus throughput can be increased.
