Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To demonstrate excellent cushioning effect against an impact from a side on a packaged work, and to reduce the cost.
SOLUTION: A packaging material for cushion to package a body part of the work is formed of a synthetic resin film sheet in which air is filled in a large number of demarcated sealed bags 4 extending to the vertical direction and continuous in the transverse direction are independent from each other. The packaging material for cushion comprises a sheet 13 of an outer two- layered structure formed by joining an outer film layer 11 with an inner film layer 12 and a sheet 17 of a three-layered structure formed by joining an outer film layer 14, an intermediate film layer 15 and an inner film layer 16. The packaging material for cushion is rounded in a cylinder so that the sheet 13 of two-layered structure is directed outwardly, and the outer film layers 14 of the sheets 17 of three-layered structure are heat-bonded with each other so that flat parts 18 at both ends of the sheets 17 comprising sealed bags without any air therein are fitted to and brought into contact with each other in a face-to-face manner.
