To provide a packing method and device for articles in a tabacco processing industry, in particular cigarette packs.
A cut piece is folded along a folding line partitioning the first side face before the cut piece is folded around an article. For the purpose, folding means 62, 63 to fold the cut piece 4 positioned in a container 3 for the cut piece, along the folding lines partitioning the first side face 47 are provided before the article 2 transfers through the container 3 for the cut piece.
