Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing device in which a cardboard material improving its recycling characteristic is applied and a breakage started from a hand applying hole of the cardboard material is prevented from being produced during its cargo handling.
SOLUTION: A shock absorbing material 2 is comprised of a first shock absorbing material 2a having flaps 5, 11 and 15 at four sides of a rectangular side plate 4 and formed with two folding lines each of which is near at a substantial central part of each of the flaps 5, 11 and 15, a second shock absorbing member 2b provided with flaps at opposing at least two sides of the side plate 4 of the first shock absorbing material 2 and a similar rectangular side plate 19 and formed with folding lines at each of the substantial central portions of the flaps, and a laminated cardboard shock absorbing material 2c. The side plate 4 is provided with a recess (a hand applying hole) H1 while a longitudinal upper side of oval ellipse shape is being left, the upper side part of the recess H1 is provided with a semi-oval ellipse-shaped hand applying flap 4a folded toward an operator at a folding line T4 to reinforce it, and then a reinforcing flap 13a arranged at the central part of the extremity end of a protrusion 13 of the flap 11 is inserted into the groove hole H4 and overlapped on the inside part of the hand applying flap 4a.
