PURPOSE: To obtain sponge cake received in traditional wood box packed in non-germ and non-moldy state by taking out sponge cakes baked in an operating room separated from de-germ and de-mold room into next de-germ and de-mold room with keeping sterilized state, cutting into small pieces and filling a wood box with said small pieces, then taking out said box from the de-germ and de-mold room.

CONSTITUTION: Baking caldrons 3 are provided at boundary part between operating room 1 and de-germ and de-mold room 2 and sponge cakes baked in the baking caldrons 3 are taken out into the de-germ and de-mold room 2, cut to suitable size by cutter 5, packed the cut individual small pieces into a wood box 7, then taken out from the de-germ and de-mold room 2 (through take out port 10). The sponge cakes packed in the wood box are covered of wood cover and the whole box is packed in seal with synthetic resin material by automatic packing machine 9. Besides, a box coated on the outer surface with synthetic resin is able to use as a wood box.
