To provide a packing structure and a packing method for a bundle of sheets which suppress the deformation of the bundle of the sheets on both ends and at the center as well, and fix the bundle of the sheets with a sufficient fixing force at the center to form no gap.
The packing structure and the packing method for the bundle of the sheets are equipped with a bearing board having a bearing surface on which the bundle of the sheets consisting of sheet materials stacked in the direction of their thickness is placed, the bundle of the sheets placed on the bearing surface of the bearing board, a corner patch member covering at least a part of a front face which is a face of a sheet composing the bundle of the sheets and is positioned on the opposite side to a face in contact with the bearing surface, and two faces that are continuous to the front face but are not adjacent to each other, and an air bag which is placed on the corner patch member and is filled with air. The bearing board, the bundle of the sheets, the corner patch member, and the air bag are wound around with a stretchable film under a condition that the bundle of the sheets is placed on the bearing board, and are integrally fixed together by the contraction force of the stretchable film.
