Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad material which has good elasticity and fabric hand is improved in resistance to organic solvents and production process thereof.
SOLUTION: In this pad material, short fiber A assembly mounts to 40-80wt.% based on the weight of the pad material and at least two of the hot-melt type conjugated short fiber B and the hot-melt type conjugated short fibers C are mixed and blended into the fiber structure as hot-melt components so that hot-melt adhesion points distribute as shown in (a)-(e) patterns: (a) between short fibers A and B, (b) between short fibers A and C, (c) between the short fibers B and C, (d) between the short fiber B and B, and (e) between the short fibers C and C. The component B is short fibers in which a thermoplastic elastomer as a fusing component melting at a temperature 40-150°C lower than that of a nonelastic polyester fibers constituting the short fibers A is exposed. The component C is short fibers in which a crystalline polyolefin polymer as a fusing component melting at a temperature 25-130°C lower than that of a polymer constituting the short fibers B is exposed at least on the surface.
