To provide a pan head system which is surely prevented from being disassembled without setting a pan head at a home position by, for example, preventing power-off when an operator turns off the system without setting the pan/tilt position of the pan head at a home position, and stores the pan head securely in a dedicated trunk when the system is disassembled.

In the pan head system including the pan head 10, a relay box 14, and a pan head controller 16, when an operation is carried out to turn off the system, the system is not turned off and is kept on when the pan/tilt position of the pan head 10 is not at the home position. When an instruction is made to turn off the power, the pan/tilt position of the pan head 10 is automatically set at the home position.
