Abstract:
To provide a pancreatic cancer detection method capable of early detection of pancreatic cancer and monitoring of therapeutic effect, and a pancreatic cancer detection kit.SOLUTION: The pancreatic cancer detection method includes: a step (a) of bringing extracellular vesicles in the body fluid sample derived from a subject into contact with one or more lectins; a step (b) of measuring the amount of the extracellular vesicles bound to one or more lectins after the step (a); and a step (c) of assessing the presence of pancreatic cancer in the subject based on the amount of the extracellular vesicles measured in step (b). The pancreatic cancer detection kit includes a solid-phase carrier on which one or more lectins are immobilized, and antibodies that specifically bind to pancellular extracellular vesicle membrane proteins or antigen-binding fragments thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
