PURPOSE: To enhance the capacity of disposal of supplying paper sheets having different sizes, by providing a means for detecting whether there is any paper sheet having a size exceeding a predetermined size in a loading section so that the take-out speed of a take-out means may be changed by means of a control means.

CONSTITUTION: When envelopes and postcards are set in standing position in the front and rear parts of a loading section 25 as viewed in the take-out direction, a detecting means 44 composed of light emitting elements and light receiving elements detects them, and therefore, a control device determines that envelopes are set in accordance with a detection signal from the detecting means 44. Further, when a switch is turned on, a transfer belt 26, an energizing supply pin 31 and a take-out means 40 are started to operate at speeds corresponding to the size of the envelopes. Further, the detecting means 44 continues its detection until all envelopes are taken out and the control devices changes over the take-out speeds when an envelope reaches the take-out means 40. Accordingly, the disposal of supply may be carried out in accordance with the sorts of paper sheets set on the loading section 25, thereby it is possible to enhance the capacity of the disposal.
