Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a processing speed without reduction in sheet alignment accuracy even when a sheet bundle is conveyed in a first conveying direction and a second conveying direction that are substantially perpendicular and horizontal to each other.SOLUTION: A paper stacking apparatus comprises a first conveying section 3 for conveying a sheet bundle S in the first conveying direction X, a second conveying section 4 for conveying the sheet bundle S in a second conveying direction Y perpendicular to the first conveying direction X, a receiving unit 1 for receiving the sheet bundle S conveyed by the first conveying section 3, and a stacking unit 2 for stacking the sheet bundle S conveyed from the receiving unit 1. The sheet bundle S is conveyed in the first conveying direction X to the receiving unit 1, and is conveyed also in the second conveying direction Y from the stacking unit 2.
