Abstract:
To provide related non-pathogenic or hypo pathogenic viruses that can be used for comparative pathogenesis studies in the study of the mechanism of henipavirus pathogenesis.SOLUTION: Disclosed are a novel virus called Cedar virus (CedPV) that will belong to the genus Henipavirus, and a method of use thereof. Also disclosed are individual proteins and fragments thereof, and the coding sequences of the individual proteins that make up CedPV.SELECTED DRAWING: None
