To provide an electric connection assembly which can be fixed mechanically and electrically to an edge part of a printed circuit board.

A header connector 10 is provided with plural electric contacts 16 supported in an insulating housing 14. The electric contacts 16 have solder tails 20 locking to a solder pad of a printed circuit board. A cover 30 is provided with a long insulating body mounted to the header connector 10. The insulating body includes plural extensible grip arms 40, which are set opposed to the solder tails 20 and separated from them. The solder tails 20 and the grip arms 40 form the space for containing an edge part of the printed circuit board between them. The detachable cover 30 is provided on a device bay plug to cover the contacts exposed during the soldering process.
