Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently and effectively recover sensible heat and to recover detrimental substances according to components by providing material introducing units at the top of a U-shaped integral body having two oblique hearths, a melted material storage chamber and a melted material outlet at the bottom, and a fuel nozzle at its top, and coupling the introducing units to supply and exhaust units.
CONSTITUTION: Material introducing units 4 are provided at tops 3 integrated in a U shape at the bottom side of a furnace body 1, and melted material storage chambers 6 and fuel nozzles 7 directed toward oblique hearths 2 at the tops of the chambers 6 are provided at the bottom 5. The units 4 are coupled to supply and exhaust units 9. The two units 4 are coupled via one hopper 12, and the two supply and exhaust units 9 are connected to one exhaust port 13 and an air introducing port 14 via switching valves V1-V4. When the bottom 5 becomes a high temperature, fuel is supply only to the B side in a furnace, mixed with preheat introduced from the top 3 of the A side of the other furnace to be burned at the B side in the furnace, and the exhaust gas is exhausted via the units 9 while preheating the material at the B side in the furnace. After a predetermined time, the A and the B are switched.
