In this passenger conveyor control device, when three-phase AC voltage supplied through three-phase power lines R, S, and T is disconnected for predetermined time or more due to occurrence of power failure or the like, DC voltage accumulated in a smoothing capacitor 21b provided in an inverter device 21 is used to continue action of a control circuit 21d provided in the inverter device 21, while either action of freely rotating a motor 4 or action of DC-braking or regenerative braking of the motor 4 using the DC voltage accumulated in the smoothing capacitor 21c is conducted.
