To provide a pellet burner for a pellet heater, capable of inexpensively and satisfactorily maintaining combustion efficiency over a long time.

The pellet burner 1 includes a pellet tank 11 storing pellet fuel and a burner 13 serving as a combustion cylinder which is connected to the pellet tank 11 and to which the pellet fuel is supplied from the pellet tank 11. The pellet tank 11 and the combustion cylinder are partitioned by a partition plate 11a, and a first hole for communicating the pellet tank 11 with the combustion cylinder is formed on part of the partitioning plate 11a. By rotating a control plate 11b arranged to come into close contact with the lower side of the partition plate 11a around a rotating shaft passing through the centers of the partition plate 11a and the control plate 11b and extended, the pellet fuel is supplied.
