Abstract:
To provide a pellet made of a resin composition containing an EVOH capable of being stably melt-molded and capable of suppressing defects in a molding after melt molding.SOLUTION: A pellet made of a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a lubricant (B), wherein the content of the lubricant (B) is 5 ppm or more and 150 ppm or less. A recess of a first metal plate is filled with 21 g of the pellet, the recess having a circular recess with a diameter of 8 cm and a depth of 3 mm, carbon paper and copy paper are stuck in this order so as to cover the recess after the filling, a second metal plate with a thickness of 1 mm having the same size as the first metal plate is stuck on the copy paper and pressed at a strength of 20 kg/cm2 to transfer a pellet shape distribution on the copy paper. In a transferred image, a square area of 391 pixels vertically and 406 pixels horizontally that does not contact a disc having a diameter of 8 cm is selected, and the total area of a black portion in the square area calculated by binarization with a threshold value set to a brightness of 180 is 8500 pixels or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
