Abstract:
To provide a method for recovering the inorganic salts of potassium chloride, potassium fluoride or the like used as diluents in the method for producing metallic tantalum in which potassium fluotantalate is reduced with metallic sodium.
By controlling the composition of the diluent salt of tantalum in accordance with the previously specified calculated formula, a tantalum product of prescribed quality is obtain, further, the inorganic salts of KF, KCcl and NaF as by-products are recovered, and those are refined and reused.
