Abstract:
To provide a peripheral display device that is able to provide a display by which, in a case where an index is displayed on a display screen, the meaning of the index can be understood easily and intuitively.SOLUTION: A peripheral display device comprises: an acquiring section that acquires a peripheral image showing in an overhead mode a situation around a vehicle on the basis of captured image data output from an imaging section provided in the vehicle and configured to image periphery of the vehicle and an own-vehicle image showing the vehicle displayed on the peripheral image in the overhead mode; a storage section that holds a target index displayed at a position on a peripheral image corresponding to a target position separate, in an advancing direction, from an end part, in the advancing direction, of the vehicle, and distance information indicating a distance from the end part to the target position in association with each other; and a control section that displays the target index and the distance information on the display device together with the own vehicle image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
