PURPOSE: To enhance reliability by providing a movable auxiliary magnet.
CONSTITUTION: Since an auxiliary magnet 9 is movably provided in a case 1 for attracting a magnet body 4 in the direction of separating from soft magnetic contact parts 7A, 7B, when a driving magnetic body 10 and a permanent magnet 2 are apart, the magnet body 4 and the magnet 9 are attracted to each other to retain the magent body 4 apart from the parts 7A, 7B so as to provide a permanent magnet switch of a normally open contact. Since the parts 7A, 7B are juxtaposed orthogonally to the moving direction of the magnet body 4, a good conductive metal 3 of the magnet body 4 is attracted by and contacted with a lengthwise surface (outer peripheral surface) wherein good conductive metals 6 of the parts 7A, 7B are provided to afford a large contact area so that an attraction state is stable, contact resistance is little and this switch is strong against vibration and impact. The magnet body 4 can be moved and rotated in the case 1 and the metal 3 on the bottom side of the magnet body 4 is in uniform contact with the parts 7A, 7B to provide the contacts with a long life. Reliability is thereby enhanced.
