Abstract:

To provide a granular pharmaceutical composition which produces granules hardly adhering to the inside of a device during granulation and being prevented from caking and is suitable for pharmaceuticals.

The granular pharmaceutical composition is prepared by: heating and melting one or more waxy substances (B) selected from the group consisting of hardened oil, vegetable or animal oil, higher alcohol, polyethylene glycol, higher fatty acid, glyceryl fatty acid ester and sucrose fatty acid ester; dispersing or dissolving medicine (A) with unpleasant taste, and synthetic aluminum silicate and/or hydrous silicon dioxide (C) in the melted waxy substances; spray-granulating the dispersion or solution; and forming waxy granules with grain size of 50-200 μm wherein the medicine (A) with unpleasant taste are dispersed.
