Abstract:
To provide a phone unit capable of avoiding the useless application of a voltage.
The phone unit operates by using a voltage applied from a feeder device. In operation, the phone unit applies a predetermined voltage to an external device connected to the phone unit based on the applied voltage to the phone unit. Then, the phone unit detects a current flowing to the external device. If the current is not detected, the voltage applied to the external device is shut down.
