Abstract:

To solve such a problem that a nozzle hole-shaped abrasion progresses due to high-hardness aluminium oxide included in paste of phosphor, and an application amount of the phosphor increases, thereby causing coating failure.

A phosphor coated nozzle plate includes: a plate body 1; a plurality of discharge ports 4 penetrating through both faces of the plate body; and a diamond-like carbon layer 2 formed on a discharge-side surface of the plate body. The diamond-like carbon layer is formed on an inner wall 10 of the discharge port to protrude inward an inner wall part of the discharge-side inner wall part. Thereby, paste of the phosphor does not directly come into contact with the plate body near the discharge side of the discharge port to suppress abrasion of the nozzle hole-like shape.
