Abstract:

To improve stain resistance of an image forming element by forming a thin outermost layer having resistance to stain and permanent contamination by grease, drinks or the like.

The photographic element after image forming consists of at least one silver halide emulsion layer in which an image is formed on one surface of a supporting body, and a stain resistant outermost overcoat on the silver halide emulsion layer. The outermost overcoat contains a fluoro(meth) acrylate copolymers containing a recurrent unit (A) containing acrylate or methacrylate monomers and a recurrent unit (B) containing ethylene unsatd. monomers having groups which cna hydrate.
