Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic film strip having a latent image mask bar code photographically recorded on a non-image frame are and having information concerning the intended purpose of photographic film by continuously recording arrayed image frames.
SOLUTION: On the photographic film strip having the latent image mask bar code photographically recorded on the non-image frame area, the arrayed image frames can be continuously recorded. The mask bar code displays the intended purpose of the photographic film. In a photograph finishing device, film is guided to pass an optical bar code reading machine before printing the film and information required to decide a frame for framing around a required print is extracted according to the intended purpose of the photographic film while printing the film. Preferably, the mask bar code exists at one end of the photographic frame strip, more preferably, it exists between the final image frame and the end of the photographic film strip.
