Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently arrange a dust-removing member so as to perform adequate film processing and also to improve assemblability by unitizing and integrally assembling a means for carrying a film and the dust-removing member in a unit.
SOLUTION: The condition of a film carrying unit is a closed condition after a film cartridge is set. Then, the film 2 is drawn from the film cartridge by a specified start signal. The drawn film 2 is carried by a driving motor 19. Upper and lower cleaning belts 10 and 11 are driven while synchronizing with the drawing operation of the film 2. The dust on the surface of the film 2 is removed by the operation of the upper and lower belts 10 and 11, then information is read by a magnetic head unit. Since the dust is removed just before the information is read, the accuracy of information reading is improved. Since the cleaning belts 10 and 11 being the dust-removing member and the film carrying means are unitized, the assemblability is improved.
