To provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate suitable for exposure with laser light whose emission wavelength is within a range of 750-1,200 nm, excellent in linearity, improved in storage stability at high temperature and high humidity (free of a slip sheet), having high printing durability, and excellent in printability, and to provide a photosensitive composition giving the photosensitive lithographic printing plate, and a recording method for the photosensitive lithographic printing plate.
The photosensitive composition contains (A) an addition polymerizable ethylenic double bond-containing compound, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, (C) a polymeric binder and (D) a dye having an absorption maximum at 700-1,200 nm wavelength, wherein at least one iron arene complex compound is contained as the photopolymerization initiator (B), and a polymeric binder having a styrenic double bond or a vinylpyridinium group in a side chain is contained as the polymeric binder (C).
