Abstract:

To provide a photothermographic material which develops the tone of an image matching with the blue background color.

This element consists of (a) a supporting body on one surface, (b) photosensitive emulsion layer containing (i) binder, (ii) nonphotosensitive org. silver salt, (iii) reducing agent and (iv) photosehnsitive silver halide emulsion, (c) halation preventing dye and (d) at least one kind of coloring dye. With this coloring dye, the color space of the finish film satisfies 220°<hab<260° (wherein hab is the angle of psychic hue defined by the CIELAB color system and hab=tan-1 (b*/a*).
