PURPOSE: To obtain a photovoltaic crevice which is enhanced in durability and reliability in outdoor use by a method wherein the lead wire of a bypass diode as a flat diode is formed of metal foil, and the bypass diode and tire metal foil are connected together through the intermediary of a connecting material.
CONSTITUTION: A bypass diode 113 installed on a photovoltaic device is a flat diode, and the lead wire 112 of the bypass diode 113 is formed of two pieces of metal foil. The bypass diode 113 and the lead wire 112 are connected together through a connecting material 111. By this setup, when a photovoltaic device is sealed in with filler such as EVE, a phenomenon that only the filter covering the bypass diode 113 protrudes from the surface is eliminated, and the photovoltaic device is improved in flatness when it is turned into a module. Even if stress is applied to a joint due to bending when a photovoltaic device module is deflected, it can be relaxed.
