Abstract:
To realize integration, on a same panel, of a plurality of functions such as light emission and light reception.
A silicon thin film 103 is formed on a transparent substrate 101 and a light receiving element part and a light emitting element part are realized in a same process by using the thin film 103. Because elements to be integrated can be formed into one body for every picture element unit capable of being fine worked, cost reduction is possible in industrial production as well as performance not found in the past, such as high resolution, high sensitivity, and low power consumption, can be realized, and therefore this device is of valuable.
