Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spinning frame capable of smoothly and surely performing a series of motions to guide a winding side thread end to a spinning part and piece at the spinning part and preventing the piecing miss.
CONSTITUTION: This piecing apparatus is provided with a means for sucking a thread end wound into a package P, a means 16 for gripping the sucked end of the thread and transferring to a spinning part 3 and a means for restricting a thread guide at a position to deliver the thread end from the sucking means to the transfer means. The thread guide restriction means is composed of a pair of guides 141, 142 for restricting the thread guide placed at both sides of a thread end delivery position interposing the position between the guides. The thread end is guided toward the thread guide restriction means by a thread-guiding lever 143.
