To provide a pile head valve device which admits insertion of a wire member capable of holding a contacting terminal suspendedly without hindering the opening/closing operation of a valve element of an airtight valve device, wherein the contacting terminal is to sense the top level of a material to fill the inside of a casing, and which can simplify the structure of the valve element opening/closing mechanism of the airtight valve device to a great extent.

A pile head valve device 10 of a pile driving device is equipped with a wire threading pipe 44 to admit threading of a suspension wire 42 for a contacting terminal, a floating valve element 14 installed in the peripheral area of the pipe 44, a valve seat 19 and airtight/buffer band 19a fixed to a body housing 12, and a nozzle 47 upward facing to discharge the pressurized air C fed into the pipe 44. The pressurized air C fed into the pipe 44 from a pressure source is discharged from the nozzle 47 so that the valve element 14 is lifted by the discharge air stream from the nozzle 47 and the pressurizing atmosphere in the body housing 12 and seated on the airtight/buffer band 19a, and thus the pile head valve device 10 is closed.
