Title:
PILE WOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3425660
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a pile woven fabric free from striated flaws due to pile yarn unevenness, developing no grinnings, thus cuttable and sewable with no consideration of weaving direction.
CONSTITUTION: A pile fabric 5 is so designed that ground wefts 3X holding roots 8A over said roots 8A of the piles 6A along left and right pile rows 41, 42 adjacent to each other with ground warps 2 put between them go over ground warps 2X, 2Y put between the pile rows 41, 42 following crossing the roots 8A. Thereby, the roots 8A can move to the pile row 42 adjacent thereto along the ground weft 3X, resulting in superposition of the piles 6A on the ground warps 2X, 2Y; therefore, development of grinnings can be prevented, and the piles of the pile rows 41, 42 are moved and mixed with another one, thus the striated flaws due to pile yarn unevenness can be avoided.
