Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot ignition gas-engine which has a high durability and improved maintainability at a low cost for driving an engine with a sure and improved pilot-ignitability throughout the range of the drive from an engine start to a rated speed drive.
SOLUTION: In the pilot ignition gas-engine, a liquid fuel is injected into an auxiliary chamber by a fuel injector. The engine include a start-ignition fuel-injector, a main ignition fuel-injector, and a controller. The start-ignition fuel injector injects a liquid fuel into the auxiliary chamber in the range of low-speed rotation including start time. The main-ignition fuel injector injects the liquid fuel into the auxiliary chamber or the main combustion chamber at a delayed timing for ignition starting in the range of high-speed rotation. The controller changes the operation from the start-ignition fuel-injector to the main-ignition fuel injector, and vise versa according to conditions of driving the engine.
