Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin tractor which can convey continuous document stably at a high speed.
SOLUTION: An endless chain 3 provided with a pin 2 which can be inserted in a marginal punch 1a of a continuous document 1 is stretched around a pair of sprockets 4a, 4b, a support guide 11 provided with a central and horizontal linear part guide part 11a and inclination guide parts 11b, 11c in the front and at the back of it is arranged on a lower side of a running part 3a on an upper side of the sprockets 4a, 4b to hold the endless chain 3 so as to move it, and the endless chain 3 on inlet and outlet sides of the continuous document approaches or leaves a running path of the continuous document 1 slowly so that the entry and discharge of the continuous document 1 are done smoothly and the pin 2 is smoothly inserted in and pulled out of the marginal punch of the continuous document 1.
