To provide a pinball game machine capable of making a player interested in a game ball which did not enter an opened winning hole, and capable of retaining the player's interest while the winning hole is opened and after the winning hole is closed.

The pinball game machine includes a first area 61 including a shooting hole and a second area 62 without the shooting hole; a border member 55 to prohibit movement of game balls from the first area 61 to the second area 62; a communication path 57 to communicate with the first area 61 and the second area 62; a first winning hole 58 disposed in the first area 61; a first open/close door 70 to open/close the first winning hole 58; and a movable member 80 to prohibit or permit movement of game balls from the first area 61 to the second area 62 via the communication path 57 as operatively connected with the opening/closing of the first open/close door 70. When the first open/close door 70 is in the closed state, the movable member 80 closes the communication path 57, prohibits movement of game balls via the communication path 57 and stores game balls. When the first open/close door 70 is in the opened state, the movable member 80 permits movement of game balls via the communication path 57.
