Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress occurrence of breaking, cracking and the like of a pipe when cutting a hard layer, in a pipe cutter for cutting the pipe having a mixture of a soft layer and the hard layer, in which the hard layer is formed inside the soft layer.SOLUTION: A pipe cutter 10 for cutting a pipe having a mixture of a soft layer and a hard layer, in which the hard layer is formed inside the soft layer includes: a body part 20; a roller 26 provided at the body part 20, to be brought in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the pipe when cutting the pipe; a disk-like cutting blade 12 to be brought in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pipe, for cutting the pipe; an axial shank part 13 for rotatably supporting the cutting blade 12, and provided so as to be movable relatively with respect to the body part 20 along a radial direction of the pipe when cutting the pipe; and a sound effect generation part 30 for making a sound effect each time the shank part 13 moves a predetermined distance.
