Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe fitting having high sealing performance, by which a socket part is reliably guided in the aligning direction in relation to a spigot part, a press ring is also aligned with the spigot, and thereby a packing is uniformly pressed.
SOLUTION: The inner peripheral edge of the end surface of a socket part comes on a tongue piece only by fastening press rings 4, 4' to socket parts 2, 2' with bolts and nuts, the pressure receiving surfaces of the press rings 4, 4' are pressed up upward respectively numely, in the aligning direction, by outward deformation by pinching of a packing, and therefore, the reliable alignment of the socket parts 2, 2' and the press rings 4, 4' in relation to spigot parts 3a, 3a' is made possible.
