Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of suppressing occurrence of toxic gas and failure of welding, and improving workability in connection to a metal pipe.SOLUTION: A pipe joint X includes a joint pipe body 1 where a whole surface of a pipe is covered with a galvanized coating M. The joint pipe body 1 has an outer peripheral chamfer part 3 formed on a pipe outer peripheral surface 1E of pipe end parts 1a, 1b continuing to pipe end surfaces 1A, 1B, with the galvanized coating M removed from the pipe end surfaces 1A, 1B and the pipe outer peripheral surface 1E of the pipe end parts 1a, 1b continuing to the pipe end surfaces 1A, 1B. The joint pipe body 1 has a pipe end outer peripheral surface part 4 formed with the galvanized coating M removed from a pipe outer peripheral surface 1F of the pipe end parts 1a, 1b continuing to the outer peripheral chamfer part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
