PURPOSE: To hardly cause corrosion from the outer surface and prevent an accident even if the leakage of gasoline happened due to the corrosion by providing a pipe joint body having an inner diameter larger than the outline of a pipe with the outer surface coated with resin, and a seal part having fixing mechanism at both end parts.

CONSTITUTION: A pipe joint body 20 has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of a metallic pipe 10. This pipe joint body 20 is laid across a resin coated part 10b and the other resin coated part, and when the seal keeps 3b of seal parts 3 provided at both end parts are thrusted into the end parts of the pipe joint body 20, sealant 3a is compression-deformed. The pipe joint body 20 is thereby fixed to the metallic pipe 10 and also sealed. The metallic pipe10a and a welded part 4 are shut off from outside air so as to be prevented from the infiltration of underground water or the like even if buried underground, and corrosion from the outer surface of the metallic pipe 10a is hardly caused. The pipe joint body 20 is also provided with a diameter enlarged part with the outer diameter enlarged, and part of the diameter enlarged part is provided with an insert hole 20b for a sensor which can detect the accumulation of gasoline.
