PURPOSE: To automatically fit and separate pipings in and from each other by using a socket with a sleeve of a female mold member and a plug of a male mold member.

CONSTITUTION: A socket 2 with a sleeve of a female mold member provided on the lower end of a first piping 1 is fit in a plug 6 of a male mold member provided on the upper end of a second piping 5 so that both pipings can be vertically connected to each other. On the other hand, a clamp seat 15 is mounted to the first piping 1. A clamping mechanism 20 is raised while the clamp seat 15 is clamped by a clamping mechanism 20, so that both piping are separated vertically. Further, a cylinder device 10 for vertically moving a sleeve 3 sheathed by a socket 2 is mounted to the first piping 1, and the sleeve 3 is moved vertically by the cylinder device 10, so that the socket 2 and plug 6 are fixedly fitted in each other or released from the fixed state.
