Title:
PIPE JOINT STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3262978
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a multi-hole pipe easily into the groove part of a socket pipe by cutting out part of a stopper to form a continuous part with the groove part innermost end face circumferentially continuous.
SOLUTION: A plurality of stoppers 28 having specified circumferential width and formed to the height of compressing sponge rubber 26 with constant compressibility are formed at the innermost end face of a pipe groove 22 integrally with a socket pipe 14 and intermittently along the pipe groove 22 so as to be in point symmetry with respect to the center of the socket pipe 14. Cutout parts 30 communicating the pipe groove 22 circumferentially with specified width are formed at both radial edges of the stopper 28 so as to form a continuous part with the innermost end face circumferentially continuous through the cutout parts 30. The insert resistance of a multi-hole pipe 12 to the socket pipe 14 therefore becomes circumferentially uniform, so that the multi-hole pipe 12 can be inserted easily with stable force.
