To protect a pipe from damage by a scattered stone and a stain or the like by spluttered water, so as to prevent the pipe from obstructing in the case of inspection and maintenance, by arranging a pipe supplying air from an air pump to an actuator so as to be along an upper surface of a side member and a cross member of a car body frame.
In a piping structure of an air pump for a free axle driving an actuator switching ordinary differential time and free axle time in a differential gear provided with a free axle mechanism, an air pump 18 for a free axle is provided in a reverse side of a front bumper and air is supplied to the actuator by a pipe 23 from this air pump 18. The pipe 23 is arranged so as to be along an upper surface of a side member 1 and a cross member 2 of a car body frame, and damage of the pipe due to spluttered water and a scattered stone at running time is prevented.
