Title:
PLANT-BASED ELECTROCONDUCTIVE FIBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003155661
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve problems that although metallic substances are widely used as electroconductive substances, these metallic electroconductive substances have a potential of inhibiting the formation of a resource/environment-circulation type society and also causing a direct harm to our life, and while, although the developments of non-metallic electroconductive substances such as an electroconductive plastic material are being performed, they are expensive and have scarce possibilities of wide uses.

This plant-based electroconductive fiber is characterized by coating carbon-based fine particles by a high pressure on a plant-based fibrous material. The fiber has characteristics such as biodegradability, gentleness to the human body, a low cost, etc.
