Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain at low cost a planter with low material cost, simple in structure and having necessary performances.
CONSTITUTION: This planter is made up of the following components: a vessel V made of expanded resin composed of a water tank 1 with the upper part open and a frame 2 surrounding this water tank and higher than the tank; a coating film 4 formed by spraying the exposed surface of at least the frame 2 with vermiculite spraying material; water holding/draining plates 3 placed lid-fashion on the water tank 1 and having open cells; and a nonwoven fabric 5 laid on these plates 3 with its end put into the water tank 1 through the holes or notches on the plates 3 or the gaps between the plates 3 adjacent to each other.
